And yet mo' stuff...and Chillen

$15 Catholic shrine thingey I bought at a fleamarket years ago. I can't decide if I should keep it or not.
$5 shell lamp for SaySay's room. She's into shells right now.
Urban Outfitters tabletop wok--because who would I be without one of these--$4. Okay. I admit. It was the color. That's why I bought it.
$10 coat rack that looks like it came out of a church for some reason.
Almost grown.
Say Say and the Holy Terror that keeps us on our toes.
Washing rugs in the backyard. They've been stored in the basement for years, away from doggie chewing and peeing and are quite musty!

Ikea Step Stool painted distant thunder grey.
Frank Sinatra and the Terror.
The Titanic resurfaces ($1 Goodwill).
A Closeup of the doomed ship.
Diniyoyo, the Lurker.

3 cups for $1 each. It's always easy to find an odd number of dinnerware at the Goodwill.
Danica candle tapers, 99 cents for 4.
Little, airtight spice jars--50 cents each.
Cool little 99 cents wood box that I seemed to be unable to live without.

Dishes made in Japan.

Admittedly, I needed another office chair like a hole in the head, especially an old beat up one with ratty, mustard-colored, scratchy upholstery. However, it was the most comfortable chair I ever sat in, so I paid $15 to Goodwill for it. I've either got to make a slipcover or upholster it because it is so damn ugly. Charcoal grey chenille, I'm thinking. It does, however, have great lumbar support.(Okay, here's what's not funny. The day after I buy this, I go to work and lo and behold, it's the exact same chair I have at my desk in my room that I sit in every day! I never even noticed the chair except to appreciate its great comfort and to force students out who took it upon themselves to perch there anytime I wasn't it it.)
THis kilim fabric was from a footstool some college students threw out. I have four pieces that are 16" x 13" and two smaller squares, just begging to be made into pillows.
Walmart oven pads $3 and a white chef's apron $6 (begging to be dyed grey, I might add.)

Blue Nude painting. I have a little pair of sunglasses to put on her eyes and I think it is hysterical! To be naked with sunglasses! Must be Sam's influence for juvenile hysterical nonsense.
$10 Wal-mart King Sheet Set and $60 teal bedspread. You save money one place, you spend it anotherAn appliance cover I made some ten years ago and just got around to hemming, but obviously not ironing. I have two others.
My poor little Savannah bird girl with the broken neck she suffered in a tumble. She also fractured both arms and has a hole in the back of her head (like that ghost kid in Sixth Sense). I glued her back together bestest as I could, but she's still a member of the walking wounded. I just can't let her go though. I love her shape.

46" x 16" Kuba cloth from ebayLe Creuset little white skillet $3 Goodwill

Wooden Box for desk supplies, $5 Goodwill. It's very well made and I think it matches the rosewood desk that I am soooooo proud of.
