Trash Day! Trash Day! My Little Heart Sings with Joy!

Today is the day after the local university graduates. It has been raining for about 10 days and is expected to for another weeks. I lost my mood to trash pick, so I didn't saunter out until almost 4:00. Not much of a crowd due to the weather, but enough for a little competition. After I found a cool lamp at my first stop, my greedy scavenger side kicked in and I was ready for the hunt!

So these are kind of in a reverse, jumbled order and not the way I found them. This is a handy dandy foldup shopping tote.Voila!

Gaia yoga ball in need of a little air.
Portable Scrabble game.

Odd little alarm clock.

Full bottles of cleaner.

2 prescription glasses in frames by Polo Ralph Lauren and Esprit with cool cases. I thought I might donate them or save them and use the frames with my next prescription. Red throw rug and 2 books just waiting to be sold on Amazon.

Cool fan that works pretty well but oscillates even when the button is down. Has a pull chain to turn it off and on and is very heavy.

Fuji digital camera that works! I have the usb plug in for it to. We were so pleasantly surprised it worked!

THis is a cool lamp--maybe from Ikea? I changed the bulb and it works. It's a glass bowl with orange flowers painted on it and a cord with a flip on and off switch. It seems very Ikea-ish.
Bowls and more bowls. (Lemons from my lemon tree.)
Great kitchen utensils.
Goodies and more goodies.
Goodies laid out on the counter.
Tony Hawk Jacket. Very chi chi.

A Feed the Birds t-shirt.
A Taekwondo outfit--how ironic since the children just started judo!
Old Navy terrycloth bag.
A nice Abercrombie and Fitch shirt.
A chef's store baking sheet that is in the dishwasher right now! It's very nice if somewhat dirty. That's one drawback; the students often put out their dirty dishes in the trash. A little gross when you're trashpicking, but I can live with it.
A white crate and barrel bowl, a neat water pitcher and a glass vase.
Clothes, two sheets.

A Comforted Store down comforter that we went on line to see how to launder.
A pilfered housecoat from Westfield Suites Marriot Hotel! Straight to the washing machine!
Ralph Lauren comforter for a twin. Headed straight for the washing machine.
Very neat wool scarf.
Really cool, heavy duty director's chair. It's well made and the boy child has confiscated it and taken it to his room now.
The lamp that made me stop and started everything! Love the lamp, hate the shade.
The Giant Dog Book!
